The tray is set and the Over Limit Sensor detected that the bottom plate ascended
too much.





Check if the SC occurs by turning the power OFF then ON. If the SC occurs again,
do the following steps. Check if the SC reoccurs by cycling the power after each
step.
To check for any abnormalities in the sensor and motor solenoid, be sure to
perform an input check and output check for them as needed in addition to a
visual check.

Replace the electric parts listed below.

Replace the Main Control Board of the LCIT.
Replace or reconnect the Lower Limit Sensor.
Replace or reconnect the Upper Limit Sensor 1.
Replace or reconnect the Upper Limit Sensor 2.
Replace the broken harness.

Over Limit Sensor defective/disconnected
Upper Limit Sensor 1 defective/disconnected
Upper Limit Sensor 2 defective/disconnected
A harness to one of the parts listed above is broken.
PCB defective
Load paper again, and check that the paper is loaded correctly.
Reinstall the paper feed belt unit.
Reconnect the following connector(s).

