5. Troubleshooting for the Operation Panel
Factory Reset
If system and application errors occur, or when you change the operation panel, the machine may be
reset to the factory defaults. This section describes how to do the factory reset and the operation after
that.
All user data is initialized.
All applications are deleted, including pre-installed applications.
In order to restore the data after executing the factory reset, make sure that you have obtained the
following firmware and copied them to an SD card before executing the factory reset. This process is
unnecessary when you only delete the data.
When updating the operation panel firmware and the applications one by one.

Factory Reset Procedure
1.
Turn OFF the machine.
Shut down the machine with [Normal] selected for [Screen Startup Mode], or shut it down using the
special shutdown procedure used for maintenance.
2.
Start up the machine in Recovery mode.
Ask your manager for details on how to enter the Recovery mode.
In the Recovery mode, key functions are shown on the screen. Check the key functions while
operating.

Keys
Moves the cursor up.
Moves the cursor down.
Selects the item.
