    1. Introduction This chapter explains the software included on the supplied printer driver CD-ROM. Start Installer To connect this machine to a client computer and use its printer function, the software included on the provided printer driver CD-ROM must be installed on the client computer. The installer starts automatically when you insert the provided printer driver CD-ROM into the CD-ROM drive of a client computer running under Windows or Windows Server.

Message number 58 or 34 indicates that the printer driver cannot be installed using Auto Run. Install the printer driver using Add Printer Wizard.

Log on as an Administrators group member. • For driver updates, select a driver that is compatible with the printer and driver type you are using. An error may result if you select a driver that is not compatible with the printer and driver type.
