Place the paper on a desk/table and hold down the edge. Fan it by flipping through the sheets.
Repeat this fanning for all 4 sides.
The edges of the sheets are rough.
Turn the sheets the other way up or smooth the edges before loading the paper.
Wrong Detection of Double Feeding
Depending on the cause of the problem, do one of the following:
When using thin paper such as paper thickness 1 (52.3 to 63.0g/m2);
Set [Double Feed Detection] to OFF.
The Double-Feed Sensor is dirty with paper powder;
Use a blower brush to clean the double-feed sensor.
Setting [Double Feed Detection] to OFF

Through "Adjustment Settings for Operators";
Select "0305: Detect JAM099" and change setting from "On" to "Off."

Through "Custom Paper Settings (IMSS)";
Select "1331-03: Jam Detection: Detect JAM099" and change setting from "On" to "Off."

Through SP;
Set SP1-302-001 to 014 to "Off."

Disabling the Double Feed Detection may cause a poor image quality or a blank sheet in
copied sheets.
