Error Name/Error Condition/Major Cause/Solution
The interface harness to the polygon motor driver damaged, short-circuited,
or does not connected correctly.
Polygon motor or polygon motor driver defective
IPU defective (Incorrect polygon motor control signal, damaged Laser ASIC)
Cycle the main power switch off/on.
Reconnect the harness between laser unit and IPU.
Replace the laser unit.
Replace the IPU.
Replace the harness between laser unit and IPU (polygon harness).
Error Name/Error Condition/Major Cause/Solution
The interface harness to the polygon motor driver damaged, short-circuited,
or does not connected correctly.
Polygon motor or polygon motor driver defective
IPU defective (Incorrect polygon motor control signal, damaged Laser ASIC)
PSU defective (Power for Polygon Motor error, fuse defective)
Incorrect AC voltage (outside the standard range)
Cycle the main power switch off/on.
Reconnect the harness between laser unit and IPU.
Check the polygon power supply 24V of the IPU (pin No.4 on CN570

connector).
Check the polygon power supply 24V of the PSU2 (pin No.12 on CN414
connector).

Replace the laser unit.
Replace the IPU.
Replace the PSU2
Replace the harness between laser unit and IPU (polygon harness).
