Resolving Power-Up Tests Failure

If the "Power up tests in progress" appears for more than 60 seconds,
perform one or both of the following:
1
Turn the power switch off and then on again to retry the power-up
tests.
2
Try another power outlet or circuit in case other equipment is
reducing the power available to the Spectra system.
If the problem persists, notify a qualified service technician or

Repositioning the Access Pressure Sensor
Diaphragm
Repositioning the diaphragm with fluid in the disposable tubing set
during Prime or Run mode may be necessary when
The access pressure sensor has not been positioned correctly or has
been disengaged from the access pressure sensor housing.
The diaphragm is not in the proper position because the pressure
pod seal is dry or cracked.
To reposition the diaphragm in the access pressure sensor so the
transducer in the housing can monitor access pressure accurately,
perform the following:.
Note: Before repositioning the diaphragm, pause the system.
1
Remove the access pressure sensor from its housing. Turn
counterclockwise to unlock.
2
If in Run mode, close the access line pinch clamp and open the
access saline roller clamp.
3
Lower the saline container until the fluid level in the container is
level with the centrifuge cover (see Figure 11-2). Wait
approximately 5 seconds.
4
Raise the saline container until fluid in the container is level with
the pressure sensor (see Figure 11-2).
5
Wait approximately 10 seconds.
6
Load the pressure sensor into its housing, keeping the fluid level in
the saline container level with the sensor. Push in and turn the
sensor clockwise to lock.
7
Rehang the saline container.
