Option 4: Air Remove
Press MENU ON/OFF, then press 4 to select "Air Remove." The
following screen appears:
Press and hold following key to remove
air from: 1=Inlet chamber, 2=Return.
To remove air from the inlet air chamber, press and hold 1.

The pump flow rates do not change. If the inlet pump currently operates
below a software specific minimum pump flow rate, it resets to that
minimum rate.
Holding the key down for more than 30 seconds stops the air remove

the key, the pumps reset to their original pump flow rates, and all valves
return to their original positions.
Watch the waste divert line during air removal. When air appears only
above the waste valve, release the key to stop air removal. If you hold the
key longer, the system diverts blood to the waste bag.
If the return valve position detector indicates that the return valve is
malfunctioning, the air remove function is disabled and the following
screen appears:
RETURN VALVE BAD –
CANNOT DO AIR REMOVE!
