General Alarms and Troubleshooting

ACCESS PRESSURE OCCLUSION ERROR!

ACCESS PRESSURE OCCLUSION ERROR! Check
for leakage or open clamps.
Alarm LED is red. Pumps stop.
Probable Cause
Clamps not closed completely
Leak in the access pressure sensor or disposable tubing set
Leak at the access pressure sensor pod seal
Pump malfunction

CONTINUE
Ensure the access line, return line, and access saline lines are clamped. Press CONTINUE.
Check the access pressure sensor and the disposable tubing set for leaks. If you do not find a leak, press
CONTINUE. If you find a leak, replace the disposable tubing set and prime the set.
If the alarm recurs, replace the disposable tubing set.
Check the access pressure sensor pod seal for wear or damage. Replace if necessary. For instructions, see
"Changing pressure pod seals" on page 10-4.
Note the alarm message. Discontinue the procedure. Notify qualified service technician of the alarm message.
To retry the access pressure sensor test, press CONTINUE.
This alarm occurs only during Prime mode when the access pressure
sensor detects a pressure drop of more than 30 mm Hg.
