Invalid Valve Position Changes
Some valve position changes are not allowed at certain times due to
donor/patient safety concerns. If you select an invalid mode change, a
specific screen appears, depending on the reason the position change is
invalid. See "Invalid Valve Position Changes" on page 12-6 for more
information if necessary.

The CHANGE MODE Key

Press CHANGE MODE to access software options that allow you
change the mode of operation during a procedure. After you make a
selection, the screen disappears and the Spectra system enters the
designated mode. The screen appears for 30 seconds unless you press
CHANGE MODE again or press CLEAR.
Note: The word "mode" is also used to describe special
operating conditions, such as Automatic, Manual or Assisted
mode. You cannot change these modes by pressing the
CHANGE MODE key.
Mode Change Selection Screen
Press CHANGE MODE. The following screen appears:
1=Load Set, 2=Prime, 3=Run, 4=Rinseback,
5=Unload Set, 6=Diagnostics.
Press the number of the mode of operation you want to change. See
"Modes of Operation" on page 2-23 for descriptions of the modes.
