Invalid Valve Position Changes
The system restricts certain valve position changes at certain times. If

you select an invalid valve position change, the screen that appears
depends on the reason the position change is invalid.

If the valve position change is invalid because an alarm condition
exists, one of the following two screens appears:

Single-Needle Run mode: If the collect or plasma valve position
change is invalid during the Return phase when there is pressure in
the Return Flow Controller, the following screen appears:
Valve will be moved at end of return cycle
The Spectra system positions the valve at the end of the Return
phase after the pressure in the Return Flow Controller has
decreased.
