General Alarms and Troubleshooting

NO SALINE SEEN AT INLET AIR SENSOR!

NO SALINE SEEN AT INLET AIR SENSOR!
Check sensor for loading.
Alarm LED is red. Pumps stop.
Probable Cause
Inlet air chamber not placed in the inlet air detector
Saline container not connected
– or –
Access saline line clamp not open
Sensors not detecting fluid in inlet air chamber
Centrifuge pressure sensor tubing out of place
Return line valve unloaded
Plasma line inserted in RBC valve
Pump or sensor malfunction

CONTINUE
Ensure the inlet air chamber is placed correctly in the inlet air detector. Press CONTINUE.
Ensure the saline container is connected and that the access saline line roller clamp is open. Press
CONTINUE.
Reposition the inlet air chamber. Ensure it has good contact with the sensor and the filter is below the sensor.
Press CONTINUE.
Reinsert the centrifuge pressure sensor tubing. To reprime the disposable tubing set, press CHANGE MODE,
then press 2 to select "Prime."
Reload the return line valve. Press CONTINUE.
Ensure the RBC line is in the RBC valve. Press CONTINUE.
Note the alarm message. Discontinue the procedure. Notify a qualified service technician of the alarm
message.
Press CONTINUE to retry the priming inlet test.
This alarm occurs only during Prime mode if the inlet air sensor still
detects air after a specific time period.
