Remove the lines from the following:
• Collect/replace and plasma valves
• Return pressure sensor
• Waste divert valve
• RBC line valve
• Collect concentration monitor (CCM) (if the disposable
tubing set includes a cuvette)
• Return and inlet air detectors
• Centrifuge pressure sensor
• Access pressure sensor
• Return line valve
• AC level detector

Press the cartridge clamps to release the pump cartridges, and
remove the cartridges from the clamps.

Remove any needles still attached from the disposable tubing set,
including the needle in the saline container, and place them in an
appropriate needle disposal container.
19 Single-Needle procedures: Remove the Single-Needle bag from the
Return Flow Controller.

Discard the containers, bags, and disposable tubing set in a
biohazard disposal container according to your standard operating
procedures.
