Ensure the correct filler is installed. If it is not, perform the following to
remove the existing filler and install the correct one. See Figure 2-4 on
page 2-15 for an illustration of the centrifuge chamber:

Press UNLOCK COVER.
2 Slide back the centrifuge cover and lower the centrifuge door.

Rotate the centrifuge so that the centrifuge loading port is facing
the front.

Remove a filler as follows:
a Push the filler latching pin toward the center of the centrifuge
and raise the filler latch.
b Push the filler locking pin toward the center of the centrifuge
and lift the filler. Remove it from the centrifuge chamber.

Position the new filler so that the dots on the centrifuge and filler
align (see Figure 4-1).
Dual-stage Turbo fillers do not have dots. Find the notch on the
bottom of the filler. Line up this notch with the pin on the
centrifuge.

Place the filler over the centrifuge assembly, and press down until
the filler locking pin is securely in place.

Lower the filler latch.

Lift up on the filler to ensure it is securely in place.

Close the centrifuge door and cover.
