Option 5: Strobe
Press MENU ON/OFF, then press 5 to select "Strobe." The following
screen appears:
1=Strobe off, 2=Strobe on.

To turn off the centrifuge strobe, press 1.
•
To turn on the centrifuge strobe, press 2 .
To obeserve the RBC/plasma interface, you must turn the strobe on.
Option 6: Configuration
Press MENU ON/OFF, then press 6 to select "Configuration." See
"Spectra System Configuration" on page 5-2 for information about this
option.
Option 7: SN (Single-Needle)
Single-Needle Data Screen
Press MENU ON/OFF, then press 7 to select "SN." The Single-Needle
data screen appears:

Access:-_____ Return:-_____ (mmHg)
The Single-Needle data screen displays instantaneous flow rates, and the
access and return pressures of a Single-Needle procedure.
Press CLEAR to return to the run screen.

Single-Needle Conversion
Press MENU ON/OFF, then press 7 to select "SN." The following
screen appears:
Press 1 to convert this to a
Single-Needle procedure.
To convert the procedure to a Single-Needle procedure, press 1.
For detailed information on how to convert a Dual-Needle to a Single-
Needle TPE procedure, see "Converting a Dual-Needle Procedure to a
Single-Needle Procedure" in Chapter 2 of the Therapeutic Apheresis
Guide.
Single-Needle Back Out
You may back out of a Single-Needle procedure if you converted during
Prime mode.
Press MENU ON/OFF, then press 7 to select "SN." The following
screen appears:
Single Needle conversion pending.
Press 1 to cancel SN.
To cancel the conversion, press 1.
If you are in Single-Needle Run mode, you cannot back out of the
Single-Needle TPE procedure. The Single-Needle data screen appears.
