Remove the Single-Needle bag from the Return Flow
Controller and place it on top of the centrifuge cover (see
Figure 11-3).

Wait 10 seconds to allow the diaphragm in the sensor to
reposition itself. (The four dots on the diaphragm move away
from the back of the sensor.)
Leave the saline container and the Single-Needle bag on top of

the centrifuge cover, and load the pressure sensor into its
housing. Push in and turn the sensor clockwise to lock.

Re-install the Single-Needle bag in the Return Flow Controller.
Set the Return Flow Controller to the prime position.

Rehang the saline bag.

Re-insert the return line in the return valve.

Ensure the Single-Needle bag is empty. (If necessary, pull open
the return line valve and allow the bag to empty.)

Clamp the return line at the return line valve.

Note the setting of the Return Flow Controller, then remove
the Single-Needle bag from the Return Flow Controller and
place it on top of the centrifuge cover (see Figure 11-3).

Wait 10 seconds to allow the diaphragm in the sensor to
reposition itself. (The four dots on the diaphragm move away
from the back of the sensor.)

Leave the Single-Needle bag on top of the centrifuge cover, and
load the pressure sensor into its housing. Push in and turn the
sensor clockwise to lock.

Re-install the Single-Needle bag in the Return Flow Controller.
Reset the Return Flow Controller back to the correct setting.
g
Remove the clamp from the return line.
Remove the clamp above the return pressure sensor.
Press CONTINUE to resume the procedure.
