The Seal Safe System
Components
Caution: Use ONLY a Seal Safe system cutter/sealer head and
interconnect cable with the COBE Spectra Apheresis System.
These components are specifically designed to perform with the
Spectra system. The Seal Safe system does not operate properly
with components from other sealers. Most other sealers will not
seal the tubing through the colored insulation sleeves.
The Seal Safe system consists of the following components:

Seal Safe system mobile unit (see Figure 15-1)
– Cutter/sealer head
– Radio frequency (RF) interconnect cable
– RF electronics enclosure
– Power cable
– Power plug (not shown)
– Disposable splash guard (shown on cutter/sealer head)
