2 Preparations
Common Procedure of E5DC and E5DC-B
 Mounting to the Panel

Insert the E5DC or E5DC-B into the mounting hole in the panel. (Attach the Terminal Unit
after you insert the Main Unit.)

Push the Adapter from the Terminal Unit up to the panel, and temporarily fasten the
E5DC or E5DC-B.

Tighten the two fastening screws on the Adapter. Alternately tighten the two screws
little by little to maintain a balance.
Tighten the screws to a torque of 0.29 to 0.39 N·m.

 Mounting to and Removing from DIN Track
• Mounting a Unit
Pull down the DIN Track hook on the Terminal Unit and catch the top hook on the DIN Track.
Press the Unit onto the DIN Track until the DIN Track hooks are locked in place.
• Removing a Unit
Pull down on the DIN Track Hook with a flat-blade screwdriver and lift up the Unit.
