2) Using the ST, remove the oil pump drive gear.

D: ASSEMBLY
1) Using the ST, install the oil pump drive gear.
ST 498745600 INSTALLER
CAUTION:
Do not apply pressure in excess of 20 kN (2.0
ton, 2.2 US ton, 2.0 lmp ton).
2) Install the snap ring.
E: INSPECTION
1) Make sure there is no damage on the center dif-
ferential. Replace if damaged.
2) Make sure there is no excessive damage or
wear on the oil pump drive gear. Replace if dam-
aged or worn.
