Configuring the SONET Mode
To enable AIS/RAI forwarding on the CEoP SPAs for SONET mode, perform the following steps:

2. Router(config-controller)# sts-1 id
3. Router(config-controller-sts)# vtg identifier t1 identifier forward-alarm {ais|rai}
