Subsection 13 (GEARBOX AND 4X4 COUPLING UNIT (WITH GBPS))
Before gearbox installation check O-ring in bearing
cover if brittle, hard or damaged. Replace if nec-
essary.

2. O-ring
Tighten the four (4) nuts that attach the gearbox
to the engine.
TIGHTENING TORQUE
LOCTITE 243 (BLUE)
Service product
(P/N 293 800 060)
25 N•m ± 3 N•m
Gearbox retaining nuts
(18 lbf•ft ± 2 lbf•ft)
After installation, refill gearbox oil. Refer to PERI-
ODIC MAINTENANCE PROCEDURES .
