To override the default mapping option, perform the following steps:

a. Configure the
clock-class-to-quality-level-mapping
level values. The quality level values are prc, prs, sec, smc, ssu-a, ssu-b, st2, st3,
st3e, st4, stu, and tnc.
[edit protocols ptp slave]
user@host# edit clock-class-to-quality-level-mapping quality-level prc | prs | sec
| smc | ssu-a | ssu-b | st2 | st3 | st3e | st4 | stu | tnc
b. Configure the
clock-class
ranges from 80 through 109.
[edit protocols ptp slave clock-class-to-quality-level-mapping quality-level

Configure the hybrid mode option on the slave.

user@host# edit hybrid
Configure the upstream PTP master interface and the IP address of the clock source.

user@host# set interface interface-name unicast-mode clock-source ip-address
Configure one or more Synchronous Ethernet source interfaces for the slave as needed.

user@host# set interface interface1-name unicast-mode clock-source ip-address
