Information Channels and Output Directions
The system supports ten channels. The first six channels (Channel 0 to Channel 5) have their
default channel names, and are associated with six output directions by default. log information
is output to log files through Channel 9 by default. That is, seven default output directions are
supported.

Output Description
Direction
Console Outputs logs, alarms, and debugging
information to the local console.
Monitor Outputs logs, alarms, and debugging
information to the VTY terminals for
remote maintenance.
Log host Outputs logs, alarms, and debugging
information to the log host. Information is
saved to a log host in the file format for easy
reference.
