Depending on your network connections, IGMP snooping may not
always be able to locate the IGMP querier. Therefore, if the IGMP
querier is a known multicast router or switch connected over the
network to an interface (port or trunk) on this switch, that interface can
be manually configured to join all the current multicast groups.
IGMP Snooping must be enabled globally on the switch (using the

igmp snooping
command) before a multicast router port can take
effect.
