Guidelines for Operating Controllers in Japan

This section provides guidelines for avoiding interference when operating Cisco Aironet 4400 and 2100
series controllers in Japan. These guidelines are provided in both Japanese and English.

VCCI Class A Warning for 4400 Series Controllers in Japan

Warning
This is a Class A product based on the standard of the Voluntary Control Council for Interference by
Information Technology Equipment (VCCI). If this equipment is used in a domestic environment, radio
disturbance may arise. When such trouble occurs, the user may be required to take corrective
actions.

VCCI Class B Warning for 2100 Series Controllers in Japan

This is a Class B product based on the standard of the Voluntary Control Council for Interference from
Warning
Information Technology Equipment (VCCI). If this is used near a radio or television receiver in a
domestic environment, it may cause radio interference. Install and use the equipment according to
the instruction manual.
