ELECTRIC STARTER
Install and tighten the bolts securely.
INSTALLATION
NOTE:
Route the starter motor cable and ground cable
properly (page 1-29).
Apply oil to the new a-ring and install it to the starter
motor groove.
Install the starter motor onto the crankcase from the
left side.
Install the ground cable.
Install and tighten the bolts securely.
Connect the starter motor cable.
Install and tighten the starter motor cable nut to the
specified torque.
TORQUE: 10 N-m (1.0 kgf-m, 7 Ibf.ft)
Install the rubber cap securely.
