CLUTCH/GEARSHIFT LINKAGE
INSTALLATION
Install the dowel pins.
'98-2000:
Install the new gasket.
After 2000:
Apply liquid sealant to the right crankcase cover mat-
ing surface.
Install the right crankcase cover and clutch cable hold-
er.
Install and tighten the right crackcase cover bolts in
a crisscross pattern in several steps.
Install the rear brake pedal and left footpeg {page
14-16}.
Install the exhaust pipe/muffler {page 2-8}.
Fill the engine oil {page 3-12}.
Perform the clutch adjustment {page 3-26}.
