Cylinder Head Cover Installation - Honda 1998 VT750C Service Manual

CYLINDER HEAD/VALVES
Turn the crankshaft counterclockwise 360· and
tighten other sprocket bolt to the specified torque.
Remove the 2 mm pin holding cam chain tensioner
wedge A.
NOTE:
o
Be careful not to let the 2 mm pin fall into the
crankcase.
o
Do not forget to remove the 2 mm pin before
installing the cylinder head cover.
Install the dowel pins.
Install the camshaft end holder with it's flat surface
on the holder facing in.
Install and tighten the camshaft end holder bolts to
the specified torque.
TORQUE: 10 Nom

kgfom, 7 Ibfoft)
Adjust the valve clearance (page 3-9).

Fill the oil pockets in the head with the engine oil.
