Hold the stopper arm with the screwdriver, and tight-
en the bolt securely as shown.
Install the gearshift spindle, aligning the return spring
ends with the pin in the case.
Apply oil to the new a-ring.
Install the oil pipe with a new a-ring onto the oil pipe
stay and oil pump.
Install and tighten the bolt securely.
Install the following:
- Oil pump drive chain, clutch (page 8-17)
- Right crankcase cover (page 8-21)
