FRONT WHEEL/SUSPENSION/STEERING
Install a new fork tube bushing if the tube bushing
has been removed.
CAUTION:
• Be careful not
to
damage the fork tube bushing
coating.
• Do not open the fork tube bushing more than
necessary.
NOTE:
Remove the burrs from the bushing mating surface,
being careful not to peel off the coating.
Install the slider bushing and back-up ring to the
fork tube.
Apply fork oil to the new oil seal lip.
Install the new oil seal to the fork tube with it marking
side facing up.

Install the oil lock piece onto the fork piston end.
Coat the fork tube bushing with fork oil and install
the fork into the fork slider.
Install the rebound spring to the fork piston.
