86 Mototelaio / Frame
❍ Sfilare la vite superiore (3) fino a
metà ed inserire l'apposito supporto
88713.1515 sul lato destro.
❍ Bloccare la vite (5) sul morsetto
destro del forcellone serrando in
questo modo il supporto.
❍ Sfilare definitivamente il perno
forcellone e la vite superiore (3).
❍ Inserire l'altro supporto sul lato
sinistro e bloccarlo con la vite (5). In
questo modo il telaio e il forcellone
risulteranno posizionati, pronti per il
rimontaggio del motore.
❍ Sfilare il blocco motore.
Note
Per lo smontaggio, la
revisione e il rimontaggio dei
componenti del motore vedi
sezione "Motore".
SMONTAGGIO RUOTA
ANTERIORE
❍ Supportare in modo adeguato il
motociclo per poter avere la ruota
da rimuovere sollevata da terra.
❍ Staccare le due pinze freno dai
gambali della forcella svitando le viti
(1) di fissaggio.
Importante
Non azionare la leva del freno
quando le pinze sono smontate. Ciò
potrebbe causare la perdita di fluido
dai pistoncini di spinta delle
pastiglie freno.
❍ Svitare e rimuovere il dado (2) sul
lato sinistro del perno ruota.
❍ Allentare le viti (3) di bloccaggio
perno sui gambali della forcella.
❍ Con mazzuolo di plastica ribattere
il perno ruota sul lato sinistro e poi
sfilarlo completamente dal lato
opposto.
❍ Sfilare la ruota e recuperare il
distanziale (4).
Note
Procedere alle operazioni di
revisione necessarie come descritto
al capitolo "Revisione ruota
anteriore" di questa sezione.
❍ Slide out the upper screw (3) by
about half its length and insert the
service support part no. 88713.1515
on the right side.
❍ Tighten the bolt (5) on the RH
clamp of the swinging arm to clamp
the service support in place.
❍ Slide the swinging arm pivot shaft
and the upper bolt (3) fully out.
❍ Insert the other support from the
left side and clamp it in place with
bolt (5). Frame and swinging arm are
now locked in the proper position,
ready for reassembly of the engine.
❍ Remove the engine.

REMOVING THE FRONT
WHEEL
❍ Support the bike so that the
wheel to be removed is raised off
the ground.
❍ Unscrew the retaining bolts (1)
and remove the two brake calipers
from the fork legs.
Caution
Do not operate the brake lever
when the calipers are
disassembled. Operating the brake
lever when the calipers are
removed from their operating
position will cause the leakage of
brake fluid from the pad actuating
pistons.
❍ Unscrew and remove the nut (2)
from the LH end of the wheel shaft.
❍ Loosen the shaft pinch bolts (3)
on the fork legs.
❍ Working from the left side, use a
plastic hammer to knock the wheel
shaft out to the other side.
❍ Slide the wheel out and keep the
specer (4).
Note
Overhaul the wheel as per the
instructions given in "Front wheel
overhaul" in this section.
