Rimontaggio
▲ Prima del rimontaggio pulire
accuratamente tutti gli elementi da
eventuali depositi o incrostazioni e
soffiare con molta cautela aria
compressa sulla reticella di
aspirazione (H) della pompa.
Importante
La reticella di aspirazione della
pompa è di spessore molto sottile e
può essere danneggiata facilmente
con un getto di aria troppo violento.
▲ Quando si installa il filtro nuovo
disporlo con la freccia (L),
stampigliata sul contenitore
E
esterno, con direzione opposta alla
pompa.
▲ Quando si reinstalla la pompa
G
nella staffa di supporto, fare
attenzione a non schiacciare i cavi
del collegamento pompa-indicatore
di livello.
▲ Orientare la fascetta (E) con la vite
rivolta verso l'apertura del tappo e
serrarla alla coppia prescritta.
▲ Ingrassare opportunamente l'OR
di tenuta (M) e la guarnizione a
E
labbro (N) sulla flangia e installarla
nel serbatoio orientandola con il
gommino di sfiato (P) verso il
posteriore.

Note
Per verificare l'orientamento
corretto della flangia sul serbatoio,
installare provvisoriamente il tappo
e inserire almeno una vite di
fissaggio.
▲ Spingere sulla flangia per
assestare la guarnizione a labbro (N)
e serrare, procedendo a croce, i
grani (C).
Importante
Non serrare eccessivamente i
grani (C).

▲ Procedere al rimontaggio del
supporto del tappo bloccando alla
coppia prescritta le viti (A) e (B).

Reassembly
▲ Before starting reassembly, clean
all parts thoroughly from any
possible deposit. Carefully blow
compressed air through the mesh
filter (H) on the pump inlet.
Caution
The pump intake mesh is very
thin. It might be easily damaged by
a strong jet of compressed air.
▲ Fit the new filter with the arrow
(L) stamped on the outer casing
pointing opposite the pump.
▲ When refitting the pump onto the
supporting bracket, make sure the
cables connecting pump to fuel
sensor are not squeezed in the
process.
▲ Arrange the clip (E) with the
screw facing the cap opening and
tighten to the specified torque.
▲ Grease the O-ring (M) and the lip
seal (N) on the flange and refit onto
the tank with the breather seal (P)
pointing back.
Note
Install the cap temporarily
using at least one screw to check
the mounting position of the flange
on the fuel tank.
▲ Push down on the flange to
locate the lip seal (N). Tighten the
grub screws (C) working crossways.
Caution
Do not overtighten the grub
screws (C).
▲ Refit the filler cap assembly and
tighten the screws (A) and (B) to the
specified torque.
