Gruppo avviamento
❍ Verificare visivamente il grado di
usura dell'ingranaggio e del relativo
albero.
❍ Rimuovere l'anello di arresto per
il fissaggio del gruppo ingranaggio
intermedio del dispositivo di
avviamento.
❍ Rimuovere il gruppo ingranaggio

intermedio del dispositivo di
avviamento e relativi rasamenti.
❍ Svitare le viti di fissaggio (2) ed
estrarre il motorino di avviamento
(1) e relativa guarnizione (3).

Attenzione
Le viti (2) di fissaggio del
motorino d'avviamento sono in
origine montate con frenafiletti.
▲ Montare la guarnizione metallica
(3) precedentemente tolta sul
motorino d'avviamento (1).
▲ Impuntare sul motorino
d'avviamento le viti (2) e serrarle alla
coppia prescritta.

▲ Inserire la rosetta (4) sul perno
ingranaggio intermedio (5).
▲ Lubrificare il perno ed il pignone
4
(6) del motorino d'avviamento.
▲ Inserire nel perno un ingranaggio
intermedio (7) ed inserire un'altra
rosetta (8).
▲ Bloccare l'ingranaggio con un
anello Seeger (9).
▲ Muovendo l'ingranaggio
intermedio (7) verificare che
presenti un minimo di gioco.
Note
Verificare visivamente lo stato
di conservazione della guarnizione
posta tra il motorino di avviamento
(1) e il carter, ed eventualmente
sostituirla.
Starter assembly
❍ Visually check the gear and shaft
for wear.
❍ Remove the circlip for securing
the starter idling gear unit.
❍ Remove the starter idle gear unit
and its shims.
❍ Unscrew the retaining screws (2)
and pull out the starter motor (1) and
its gasket (3).
Warning
At the factory, starter motor
retaining screws (2) are installed
with threadlocker.
▲ Fit the metal gasket (3) previously
removed from the starter motor (1).
▲ Fit the screws (2) on the starter
motor and tighten to the specified
torque.
▲ Fit the washer (4) into the
intermediate gear pin (5).
▲ Lubricate starter motor pin and
pinion (6).
▲ Fit an intermediate gear (7) into
the pin and then fit one more
washer (8).
▲ Lock the gear with a snap ring (9).
▲ Move the intermediate gear (7)
and ensure there is a small
clearance.
Note
Visually check for proper
operating condition of the gasket
between the starter motor (1) and
the casing. Change the gasket, if
necessary.
