5. Remove the generator shackle bracket bolt and the
washer.
6. Remove the serpentine accessory drive belt. For ve-
hicles equipped with power steering and air condition-
ing, refer to Section 6B, Power Steering Pump.

7. Remove the bolt and the retaining clamp of the har-
ness.

8. For vehicles with the SOHC engine, remove the nuts
and the washers which hold the generator lower
bracket-to-generator bolts.
