Changing the Exposure Level (Exposure Level
Switch)
The Exposure Level Switch function enables you to specify how many levels of gradations of
copy exposure are available for adjustment with the exposure keys on the touch panel display.
You can select between 9 levels and 17 levels, with 17 levels offering a higher degree of control
in the copy exposure.
NOTE

The default setting is "9 Levels".

Display the required screen as follows:
Press

Select [9 Levels] or [17 Levels]; then press [OK].

Press [Done].
Designating the Feeding Location for
Transparencies
To feed transparencies from drawers, you will first have to designate the drawer as the feeding
location for transparencies.
IMPORTANT
The stack bypass and the paper deck (option) cannot be designated as the feeding location for
transparencies.
NOTE
No feeding location for transparencies is specified by default.
