4. Troubleshooting
Code 5020: "system - read projector identification failed" (Error)
Situation
Corrupt or invalid Projector ID card

Solution
Contact Barco for further actions.
Reseat the Cinema Controller board. If problem persists, replace the Cinema Controller
Board.
Replace the backplane.

Solution
Remove the left cover of the projector and check the connection of the wire unit of the
fan below the Cold Mirror.
Remove the front cover and front dust filter from the projector and check if the wire unit
(reference 5 image 4-8) is inserted in the Signal Backplane.
Unblock the fan. Ensure that the fan can turn freely.
Check if the wire unit of the fan is not damaged. Repair if possible, otherwise replace
with new one.
Replace the Fan Control board. See "Removing a board in the card cage", page 213.
Replace the fan. See chapter "Cold mirror fan", page 327.
