the original locknuts for assembly purposes, if possible. This will preserve
the patch lock feature in the new locknuts. Use the new nuts only after new
bearings and seals have been installed.
Note: Special tool TOR4105 (refer to

2–18)) and original locknut onto each end of the roller shaft
(Figure

3. Tighten the nuts until the bearings are seated into each end of the roller.
4. Remove the bearing locknut and black assembly washer from each end
of the roller.
Failure to grease bearing locknut before seal installation may result
in seal damage.
