Replacing basic chassis components

To replace the side cover

Caution:

Before you replace the side cover, ensure that no tools or loose parts are inside the server
chassis.
Caution:
Risk of equipment damage
Use an ESD wrist strap to protect static-sensitive components.
1. Hold the cover flat against the chassis.
2. Slide the cover toward the front of the server until it locks into place.
3. Tighten the two thumbscrews on the back of the server.
4. If you removed the chassis feet, reinstall them.
5. Connect all external peripheral device cables and the power cord to the back panel.
6. Power up the server.
