Replacing media drives
Ensure that the hard drives are configured as follows (for instructions, refer to the original
equipment manufacturer documentation):
• SCSI ID: 2
• active terminators (Term Enable): disabled
Note:
Termination is provided by an Active SCSI terminator that you connect to the end of
the SCSI cable (see
• parity checking: enabled
• termination power (TPWR): enabled
• all other settings: factory default
