REMOVING AND INSTALLING INSTRUCTIONS
Removing
1. Remove front and rear reinforcement plarer.
1. Remove exhaust assembly with hear shields.
2. Remove rear axle.
Note
Let fear axle of can with a bolted battery console
hang down on the trailing links and supporr same
(tie up).
3. Remove transmission (see page 34 - 3).
4. Remove clutch (see page 30 - 3).
5. Remove shift lever.
6. Remove ashtray and unscrew guide tube mount
from body (only for cars manufactured up IO
August 7,1978).
