pump is damaged, replace the pump (do not remove the diaphragm).

the
support

cover

Remove
the
paper
gasket.
Remove
the
needle
valve

filter
plug

from
the
top
of the
cover

Remove
the
float
(10)
and
its
spindle
(11)
from
the
carburettor.
Remove
the
screws,
remove
the
injector
(12)
and
paper
gasket.
Remove
the
air
correction
jet
(13),
and
withdraw
the
emulsion
tube
(14).
Remove
the
choke
tube
locking
screw
and
remove
the
choke
tube
(15).
Remove
the
accelerating
pump
(16)
from
the
carburettor
body.
Remove
the
pump
lever
pin
(17),
remove
the
spring
(18)
and
washer
(19).
Disconnect
the
accelerator
pump
(secured
by
four
screws)
from
the
carburettor
and
withdraw
the
gasket.
IMPORTANT
- If
a pump
diaphragm
is
damaged,
fit
a new
pump.
Never
remove
the
diaphragm.
Remove
the
main
ject
carrier
(20)
and
remove
the
main
jet
(21)
from
the
carrier
(20).
Remove
the
starter
petrol
jet
(22)
and
the
starter
air
jet
(23).
Remove
the
pump
jet
(24),
the
pilot
jet
(25)
and
the
idling
air
bleed
(26)

Remove
the
seat
(27)
of the
pump
inlet
valve
ball

R emove
the
volume
control
screw

Clean
the
parts,
blow
compressed
air
through
the
ducts
and
the
jets.
Thoroughly
clean
the
filter
plug

and
the
filter
(30)
of
the
pump
valves
(28).
Never
use
a metal
wire
for
cleaning
the
jets.
