Conditions Check
After the settings, make sure that MG-PRI/PRA is working properly, taking the following:
Make sure that PWR lamp lights on.
STEP 1
If the lamp does not light on, check the following:
• Check if the cable is inserted appropriately.
• Check if the power switch is inserted appropriately.
• Check if the electricity is provided on the plug.
• Check if the FAN alarm is detected.
Make sure that LINK lamp lights on.
STEP 2
If the lamp does not light on, check the following:
• Check the cable between network equipment and MG-PRI/PRA
• Check the power of connected equipment (such as Router and Switching HUB)
• Check an appropriate cable type is used.
Make sure that ON LINE lamp lights on.
STEP 3
If the lamp does not light on, check the following:
• Check the settings of MG-PRI/PRA with SHOW command from Maintenance Console, and check the
MGC related data specified in the Telephony Server with appropriate commands (ASYD, ASYDL,
ADPM, ADTM, ARTD, ARTI, ATRK, ADPC, ACSC, ACIC1, AMGIL, AMGVL) from PCPro. For
more information about its MGC commands, refer to CHAPTER4. When confirming the Telephony
Server settings, refer to the Command Manual and the Data Programming Manual.
Make sure that LINE D lamp lights on.
STEP 4
If the lamp on MG-PRI/PRA does not light on, check the following:
• Check the system message output.
For more details, refer to the Operations and Maintenance Manual.
• Check MG-PRI/PRA is connected to ISDN physically
- Check the cable between MDF and MG-PRI/PRA
- Check the cable between MDF and DSU
• Check the connection of the cable between MDF and DSU
• Check the settings of MG-PRI/PRA by SHOW command from Maintenance Console, and check the
MGC related data specified in the Telephony Server by using appropriate commands (ASYD, ASYDL,
ADPM, ADTM, ARTD, ARTI, ATRK, ADPC, ACSC, ACIC1, AMGIL, AMGVL) from PCPro. For
more information about its MGC commands, refer to CHAPTER4. When confirming the Telephony
Server settings, refer to the Command Manual and the Data Programming Manual.
