13.1.2 Relationship between MG-PRI/PRA and Telephony Server (Internal PHI-PRI)
Managing MG-PRI/PRAs via Internal PHI-PRI
Internal PHI-PRI installed in the Telephony Server, manages the MG-PRI/PRAs to make an effective con-
nection and achieves a variety of services. If a fault occurs in the MG-PRI/PRAs controlled by the Tele-
phony Server (Internal PHI-PRI), the Telephony Server detects it and outputs the messages that PCPro will
display, thereby, maintenance personnel can realize the situation of the managed MG-PRI/PRA and the
cause of the fault.
On T1 interface, the Telephony Server supports a maximum of 768-channel, which indicates 32 MG-PRI/
PRAs if each one handles 24-channel. On E1 interface, the Telephony Server supports a maximum of 960-
channel, which indicates 32 MG-PRI/PRAs if each one handles 30-channel. The following shows the com-
munication model between the Telephony Server (Internal PHI-PRI) and MG-PRI/PRA.
