12.4.2 How to Download Tone Data
This TONE data downloading is performed one by one, connecting a PC to each MG(BRI) with a RJ-
45/RS-232C cable. This tone data setting requires TFTP server. Prepare the following:
- LAN cable and Switching HUB are required.
- Console cable (RJ-45
- Required to install TFTP server in advance.
Console Terminal
TFTP Server
Power off MG(BRI) and disconnect it from the network.
STEP 1
Connect PC (Console terminal) to MG(BRI) with Console cable.
STEP 2
Connect PC (TFTP Server) and MG(BRI) by using LAN cable and HUB.
STEP 3
Allow read in this directory. For more information, refer to the appropriate manual attached to
STEP 4
the FTP server program.
Set network environment for the TFTP server.
STEP 5
Confirm the all files to be downloaded into an appropriate folder of the PC (TFTP Server).
STEP 6
The following show the example of TONE data files.

Power on MG(BRI).
