Check the MG(BRI) is physically connected to ISDN network.
Also confirm the line cable between;
- MDF and MG(BRI)
- MDF and DSU

Check the data assignment of the Telephony Server side and MG(BRI) side.
Telephony Server: Is the data assignment on each PCPro command correct?
MG(BRI): Check the configuration data assigned from the maintenance console.

Go on to STEP 5.
STEP 5: Speech test through MG(BRI). Call origination/termination OK?
[Call origination/termination does not operate normally]

Check the system message of the Telephony Server.
•
Check the MG(BRI) is physically connected to ISDN network.
Also confirm the line cable between:
- MDF and MG(BRI)
- MDF and DSU

Check that the cable is not damaged. (Test the continuity in the LAN cable.)
•
Check the data assignment of the Telephony Server side and MG(BRI) side.
Telephony server: Is the data assignment on each PCPro command correct?
MG(BRI): Check the configuration data assigned from the maintenance console.

Check the contract status of the ISDN line.
[B lamp of LINE0/1 does not light]
•
Indicates that all channels are in idle state, check the office data assignment.
[B lamp of LINE0/1 flashes]
•
Flashes slow: Either of the channels is set to make-busy, and the other is in idle state. Check the
office data assignment.
•
Flashes fast: B1 and B2 channels are both in make-busy state. Check the office data assignment.
