12.4.4 How to Upgrade Firmware by FTP (Remote Download)
This upgrading process can be performed on up to eight MG(BRI)s at once.
- Firmware for upgrade
- PCs have to belong to the same segment with MG(BRI).
- FTP server has to be installed in advance.
- PCPro has to be installed in advance.
- MG(BRI) is already registered to system and it is working normally.

Put the firmware file (mgbri-bsc.bin), DSP program file (mgbri-dsp.bin), and download list
STEP 1
file (mgbrisiplist.txt) for upgrade in the root folder of FTP server. They are included in SP ver-
sion name folder [e.g. SP3826].
Allow read in this directory. For more information, refer to the appropriate manual attached to
STEP 2
the FTP server program.
Set network environment for the FTP server.
STEP 3
Start the FTP program.
STEP 4
<Resetting MG-BRI(SIP) by AMGIL Command>
Activate the AMGIL command, and then input the MG-ID of MG-BRI(SIP) to reset.
STEP 5
Click [Get] to read out the registered information.
STEP 6
Select an item of Reset in FUNCTION.
STEP 7
Select an item of Activate in operation mode in Operation after reset.
STEP 8
Click [Execute]. A message window will appear, and then click [Yes].
STEP 9
Reset all the MG-BRI(SIP) to update, and check they has all been activated normally by using the DIPI
