13.3 System Startup
13.3.1 Summary
After completing hardware settings on the previous page, the setup procedures as follows are taken. These set-
tings are divided into three parts: the settings of the Telephony Server and the settings of MG-PRI/PRA, and
connection check. To set up the MG-PRI/PRA, these procedures are necessary to proceed.
13.3.2 Before Taking Procedures
Before taking procedures, please take the following:
Connect the maintenance console by using an RS-232C straight-through cable.
Unstable network environment such as using NAT and dial-up connection is not preferred
Connecting ISDN is applied for not tie network but PSTN using the following protocol:
- North America: Bellcore NI-2 AT&T NO5ESS DMS-100
- Other Countries: ETSI ETS300.102.1
The following provides the port number to be used in this system. If a firewall is used in your network, do
not block the following ports.
