Description
Intersection with Bearing - Distance
The COGO intersection calculation bearing - distance calculates the intersection point of a
line and a circle. The line is defined by a point and a direction. The circle is defined by the
centre point and the radius.
Elements that must be known are
•
the coordinates of two points.
•
the direction from one known point to the COGO point.
•
the distance from the second known point to the COGO point.
•
offsets if required and configured.
The coordinates of the known points
•
may be taken from the active job.
•
may be manually occupied during the COGO calculation.
•
may be entered.
Points with full coordinate triplets and position only points can be used.
