Examples This example shows how to configure the IP address for the Layer 2 switch on a subnetted network:
Switch(config)# interface vlan 1
Switch(config-if)# ip address 172.20.128.2 255.255.255.0
You can verify your settings by entering the show running-config privileged EXEC command.
