NOTE: In some regions, the OAP modules are sold as "OSM" modules. They are
identical in function.
When configuring an OAP module, go to these sections for information you are
interested in:

Open application platform (OAP) is an open application platform for new services.
On an OAP module runs Linux operating system (Linux OS). You can load soft
wares such as security and voice as needed.
On an OAP module run independent Linux operating system (Linux OS) and service
software. You can perform related system and service configuration.
Meanwhile, as an interface module on the router, the OAP module interacts with
the router on data, status information and control information. OAP module
configuration on the router includes the following:

You can telnet to the remote Linux OS through the management GE
(GigabitEthernet) interface on an OAP module or connect to Linux OS by the
redirection function from the router side. In this way, the terminal display interface
will be switched from the command line interface on the router to Linux OS
interface. After the switch, you can press <Ctrl+k> to return to the command line
interface on the router.
