802.1x EAP Type Not Supported

A Fail signal, which indicates that the authentication method set in the printer cannot be processed,
was received from the "authentication device" switch that is physically connected to the printer via the
network.
Applicable Fault Code
016-401: 802.1x Authentication Method Mismatch (the authentication server does not support
the authentication method of the printer)
Initial Actions
Power cycle the printer.
If the problem persists, perform the following procedure

server.

Check the 802.1x authentication method from the Control Panel.
